Incentives and Awards
To increase the quality and accessibility of the number of projects and scientific outputs of academics working in different disciplines, an incentive and reward mechanism has been established for academics who periodically carry out the most qualified scientific activities throughout İzmir Bakırçay University. Accordingly, according to the periodic statistics, it is aimed to benefit from reward mechanisms such as publication incentives or incentives for participation in scientific symposiums/meetings to publish in journals with high impact value. The categories evaluated to determine the incentive and reward mechanism for İzmir Bakırçay University academicians are as follows:
Academic Publication Performance: It includes academics whose number of articles in Web of Science indexes in the relevant period in 2022 is higher than (….).
External Funded Projects: This includes the contribution made based on the highest grant amount transferred to our university in external national and international projects in the relevant period.
External Success and Visibility: It includes the awards received in competitions held by national and international organisations in the relevant period.
Contribution and Representation to Institutional Processes: It includes the contributions and support made based on faculty members in structuring our university’s business processes in the relevant period and in return for bringing resources to the university and institutional representation in external relations.
Institutional Work Discipline: It covers the devotion shown regarding working order and professional discipline in the relevant period based on faculty members.
